Below is a list of things people who came to our meetings in 2008 and 2009 thought were important for our community's development.

1. Area parks, closed off areas, where dogs can run and socialize.

(Please note: we have a leash law and picking up law)

2. Attract businesses we can walk to, such as:

  • health food store
  • nice cafes (with sweets, coffee and international papers)
  • artisan bakery
  • stores that sell fresh produce
  • craft stores (glass, pottery)

Let us know if you have more ideas.

3. Community gardens: sharing plants and produce.

4. Recycling drop-off sites (we're working on mandatory recycling)

5. Bike pahts.

6. Libraries.

7. Public transportation such as rail for work, shopping.

Things that concern you:

  • trash
  • graffiti
  • group homes
  • student parties, noise
  • landlords throwing people's belongings out on the street
  • landlords not participating in our good neighbor policy

We are working on slolving these problems but we need everyone's participation. Here is a list of thing that can be done by all of us:

  • clean up graffiti
  • don't be part of the noise problem
  • clean trash off the street

Remember: a clean neighborhood is a safe neighborhood.

We are about solutions and we are always looking for constructive suggestions.
